Tammy really isn't nothing special, I know Morata isn't but the club did invest £60m in him so I can see why they'd persist with him.

Our strike force is the worst it's been since 2012-14. After Drogba left of course.

Sorry, at this stage I'm not going to accept he's nothing special. On the other hand I'm not going to say he's the answer to our prayers either.

The simple fact is, he's untried and we don't know how good (or bad) he is.

I listened for years on JA606 about how bad Lukaku was, I'm damned sure most would have him in the team now.

All I do know is, right now Morata looks as fragile as a greenhouse on a golf driving range!

I would rather have Giroud than Lukaku in a Sarri system. Olivier is a great foil for Hazard and Pedro (just like he is for Greizmann and Mbappe for France) wheras while Lukaku is probably pound for pound a better forward i can't think of a single half decent or above forward on the planet more ill suited to Sarri's system and that includes Morata.

Why drop Luiz

Christensen is half the player Luiz is, fair enough you can say he's a better defender but Luiz is by far a better footballer and I don't think Christensen will ever be better than him at that.

IMO Christensen has always been so overhyped but I don't see it, just like RLC, I don't feel like he's improved for me, he's been the same the last couple of years.. hes mediocre and his level was palace IMO.

Just like Zaha, put him in a united team and he can't do it, but Palace and he can. Players have levels and RLC isn't at that level or Christensen...... yet

Ronny because he is more similar to luiz than rudiger and we have Cardiff at Home. If he’s going to get any league game time then these type of games have to be it.
And we are conceding a few goals and should have conceded more so would be a good test. Nothing against luiz starting.

But we will never know how good our players are unless they get chances

They'll get chances in the weeks ahead as we'll be playing 3 games a week.

haha brum we're realists mate, I don't want them all chucked in, but against cardiff at home, these are the type of games where we need to trust them.

Yeah, leaving on the 0856 from B'ham Moor St to Marylebone, then meet up with 69 for a few.

Got to be in Lloyds bar at 1400 to meet the lads with my ticket.

Then having a few after the game as well - looks like hangover Sunday!
