Well, I missed the start and bit of the second half. However, I have watched the highlights, seen the stats and listened to the commentary from the panel.
Conclusion is that, in the end, the scoreline looks to flatter Spurs, rather than reflect the difference in energy levels and attacking opportunities.
I can list few excuses here, but I won't.
Liverpool won and well done to them <applaud>
We did lose to Chelsea last season in an early season encounter at Wembley, just like today.
However, the players match fitness got better, and Spurs were closing down better when the season was in full swing, helping Spurs to finish above Chelsea.
Sometimes, it is easier to play against your nearest rivals away, than at home. Specially early on in the season
Well done to Liverpool though
Well done, LIverpool

Ive always thought Spurs seemed to have a more stable or balanced formation than Liverpool when they play, as they always seem to have passing options.
Today I kinda thought, Pool are scrappier at times but I think for Spurs the issue is when the one player loses the ball it puts the whole system under pressure and causes problems/counters.
With Pool when they lose it they have pockets of players still in several areas, so Its still hard to break on them.
Not as effective on the eye but seems like they can now fight and grind out a result not playing their best, ,which they havent had in recent years imo.
They still break at warp speed and over a game its generally effective.Their attackers were so greedy today could cost them on another day though.
Still early days and ive no doubts Spurs will get top 4 but they need to buy players to replace Dier etc.
They are exploitable and ruins the work of the good players.
Spurs need a player who will bark at his teammates when they balls up. I dont see many vocal players in their team really.
Also, they should play Erikson higher up where he plays for his country. He scores loads for them and offers so much threat, which would help Kane.

There's some truth in that

Mane Salah and Keita had plenty of chances but wasted them. It could have easily been 6 or more.

Players didn’t just lose the ball today, the consistently gave it away.
You cannot do that with the quality of player Liverpool have. If it wasn’t for some poor decision making my Mane & Salah when in and around our box, we could have lost by 3 or 4 today.
