Thought he had a shakey first 10 mins then after WOW. Dominated the midfield.

I'd go all out to get him in Jan, especially if Lyon don't progress.

classic for spurs to miss out on this one. Probably gone straight to the top of man city wishlist now though.

I know the price was high but Zaha would have been a very good buy for you. I'd happily see him at Liverpool, great player and only getting better.

Tbf that Lyon team were fantastic...so composed on the ball and in being calm under pressure and getting out of tight spaces. The LB was amazing also, mendy. Both CMs were good and i was impressed by fekir

Agree on everything.

January isn’t too far away you can sign players then will likely cost more but could give a real kick to the squad for the second half of the season

No panic. Don't care what newspapers say about our club. It is hardly the first that a club has lost three games in a row in history, and will not be the last.

I am still fully confident this will turn out a really decent season, that is if Poch cuts out the tinkering about with the team every other game.

Well, Well .... Sandy was making the Dumb Ass prediction at the start of this season that "Spurs are going to win the Premiership, the FA Tin Pot, and the European Championship".

Now it's (whatever Sandy is, Man, Woman or Eunuch)
"I am still fully confident this will turn out a really decent season, that is if Poch cuts out the tinkering about with the team every other game."

Ask it, someone, what it thinks a "really decent season" is! We've had 3 or those in a row. Now it seems we might be in for something of a "lesser season" where even top 4 will be a struggle.

I am one Spurs fan that wants to see us win some Silverware down here before I go to Paradise (where Spurs do win everything and Sandy's Dumb Ass predictions all come true!)

As a fan of that boring North London team, yes the one that wears red/white, I'm surprised how nervous/fickle that Spurs fans are who seem to be panicking so early in the season?

They have a good team that plays exciting football. Yes, they do make mistakes, but this can be corrected. They play with a lot of energy and passion.

On the other hand, Arsenal has a hodgepodge of "stars(?)" whose style of play is as exciting as watching paint dry! Yet, for the most part, their fans remain relatively quiet and non-critical?

I still believe that, this season, these two clubs will be fighting for 5th. place in the PL., with my money on Spurs.
