One of the long haul trips as Bolton make their way to Portman road. Not a happy hunting ground for Bolton in recent times. The last 5 games between the clubs have seen Ipswich win all 5 and no goals scored by Bolton. Form wise Bolton are now on a run of 1 point from 4 games and their league position of 15th with 11 points is proped up by that fine start in August of 3 wins and a draw from the first 4. Hopefully Bolton can end the bad run and also end the Portman road hoodoo. Ipswich are finding life hard after Mick McCarthy and under new boss Paul Hurst are bottom of the championship with no wins and just 4 points. A lesson to be learned as fans weren't happy under McCarthy but the grass isn't always greener. Team news. Only ameobi and Taylor missing for Bolton. A promise to start on the front foot by parky. Hopefully that means players in the team more used to going forward rather than sitting deep defending. Can't put such a negative team out as at Middlesbrough on Wednesday again. Noone, wildschut and Oz to start for me and come in for hobbs, Vela and O'Neil . That's my choice though, anyone's guess what parky will do.

I see GWD slipped the I word in there good to see it's kept alive when the A word goes on the back burner for a break.
Just think if it wasn't for the special A and I words we'd have to talk about the latest player being wheeled out for the daily Beano scoop.

I see Fabrice is starting his coaching badges and will hopefully at some stage in the future become a coach. Good luck to the lad. I hope he realizes his dream. He certainly has the right attitude.

In other news I went to see the boss just to let him know I was going up North this weekend to be nice to Ken and buy a ticket for the big match.
"Oh no your not" I'm told I am to miss the whole day and match my weekend is cancelled I am to fly away from blighty and back to work in some far away place it'll be Sunday before I can catch up on events here I'll be lucky to catch any game this season in person now.
So when Benny has zapped the one above I hope he remembers a volunteer for the team sheet will be required come Saturday when I'll be expecting to see a Bolton win when I finally get to see the score and read all about the attacking goal feast served up by Prof P.

Personally, I prefer our own thread. We just get swamped with teams with a larger following than ourselves. It doesn't hold the same interest for me. However, I'm not sure what time I will be at home as my son and his family is due to arrive just before lunch and her indoors wants to venture outdoors for a walk when they leave. Hopefully, I will be back at some stage so I leave it in your capable hands.
