What Did We Learn ?

After getting back to winning ways what did we learn today ?

1 Gazza is better than that clown Vorm and was unlucky not to keep a clean sheet
2 Lamela should be in the starting line up.
3 Rose has his best game in about 2 years.
4 Why does LLorente even bother turning up on match day?

Anything else ?

In fact 4 goals in his last four appearances so why shouldn't he start?

Because he looks way better coming off the bench than he does starting at the minute

He's too good to be on the bench, he's now becoming the player we all expected him to be.

Lamela should not be in the starting line up, I repeat Lamela should not be in the starting line up.

Yes he should, I repeat, yes he should. Scored against Liverpool and scored again today, 2 goals to Kane's 1 penalty, yes he should play and Kane should be dropped.

Sandy - you want Lucas Moura dropped? Do you watch our games? He’s been brilliant! Interesting

When you say brilliant, what do you actually mean? Has he ripped defences to shreds, that's brilliant. Sure he has looked lively, but the team in general has been poor for a few games, so not that difficult to look a bit better than some of the players. But he just doesn`t totally convince me that he is any better than say Son or Lamela at the moment. I like him, and maybe when the team gets a winning run going he may really come to the fore, but at the moment I am not sure he is any better than Son or Lamela, neither of whom can hold a regular spot down.

Sandy,

MOTM against Fulham and United. 3 goals in 6 games and assist to match. Would be very harsh to drop him, when Son has done nothing and Lamela is only good off the bench.

Son has done nothing so far this season in the limited game time he has had

No, I'm being perfectly serious, Lamela's stats speak for themselves, 4 in 4 whereas Kane has been stuttering all season. I think 3 out of our last 4 goals have been an own goal, a deflection and a penalty which is total rubbish. I'm wondering about a 2,3,2,3 system or the formation we played last season when Kane was injured and we scored 9 goals in 3 matches or near. We have enough attacking midfielders in Son, Alli, Eriksen,Lamela and Moura to bang then in. Kane needs a good rest to recharge his batteries. I think it would work.

It's difficult with Kane because the service to him hasn't been great and at the same time he's been dropping too deep to get on the ball. He isn't as sharp as he should be though. I wouldn't be against dropping him for a game or two, which would also free up a spot for Lamela to start.

Did I really read that correctly Spurtle?
