I don’t rate Morata in any way, but he was just unlucky with that chance. GK knew nothing about it.

Surely chipping it at him from 3 yards away was the wrong thing to do biggish? Hindsight is a wonderful thing but just slot it either side. The goal is massive when ur so central.

If it’s instinct that’s more of a worry, shows he has no IQ

It's just the way it's going for Morata at the moment, wasn't a bad finish, just unlucky it hit Fabianski's face who knew nothing about it.

He just needs that slice of luck to go his way but it's not happening for him. Giroud was pretty ordinary in the game too. We've got two very average strikers who can't score out of nothing like Diego and Drogba could.

It was a bad finish for me, quite black and white for me.

I would say it was luck but he's been doing it for a year now. Never seen a striker miss so many good chances, even torres.

Yeah only seems to finish with his head... it's a real problem, two strikers who don't score goals.

Fabianski is on his way down. Morata is racing to get to the ball first and the space is above Fabianski and to his right. Morata only has the time to go to Fabianski’s left and that is also the right side to go. He chips with the outside of his foot, just did not get the direction. In isolation he was unlucky and tried to do the right thing. Trouble is taking his woeful career at Chelsea as a whole, it’s yet another miss.

We'll end up playing Willian Hazard Pedro if this continues.

can't say I agree mate but each to their own. Is more poor decision making for me. But like you say, another miss, been around a year of this now
