On paper this is likely to be a finely balanced game, both team's on 14 points: W3,D5,L1 Forest have scored two more goals than Rovers.

They're another bogey team where we are concerned, not beaten them going back five games to 2015. They even managed a 0-1 here last April, when they were relegated.

However it get's a lot worse than that if we cast our minds back to November 1995. Lars Bohinen had recently moved to Rovers and his transfer came back to haunt us that day. He scored two and Alan Shearer chipped in with three, Mike Newel & Le Saux finished the job off. Colin Cooper had to come off in the 29th minute, I assume he was injured, Jason Lee was subbed for Andre Silenzi at 50 minutes, Chettle saw red on 67.

With the strongest squad that the club has ever assembled? is now the time to get our own back? I know that that result stung and stuck in the memory for a very long time.

So ten games in and one point off the playoffs.

Not too bad.

Lolley showed his worth today. Was the one to grab it by the scruff of the bet today and was always working hard to make something happen. Invaluable to Forest I reckon.

That was exhausting, even on the radio.

Wild swings from being in control to hanging on by fingernails, so good to get a point and finish threatening a winner.

If we'd won we'd be 5th and if we'd lost we'd be 15th. This division is even madder than usual.

Could be more than the usual amount of contenders this season. Bring it on!

Looks like a better of a game on the highlights. Happier with the draw watching that.

We just need to start converting these draws into wins and we will be up there.

Burton away in the League Cup!

Ten games in and I'm content.
A mixed bag, some good performances some not so good, but things do seem to be improving. A win on Wednesday to back up yesterday's point and no matter whatever happens next Saturday we go into the break in good shape.
After the break we come back fresh and hopefully with Soudani and Ansarifard to boost our firepower.
So I am still thinking top ten minimum and a possible challenge for a play off place

Good assessment, I would say it’s pretty much as you’d expect it to be. After the next break I fully expect Forest to really start ramping it up.

The Ansarifard thing seems to have ground to a halt over work permit issues. It seems to be pretty much in the balance.
