As requested our own little quiet matchthread. A toughie today as Bolton now in 15th take on 6th place Derby fresh from beating Manchester United at Old Trafford in the efl cup in midweek. The table is tight though and only 4 points separate the 2 clubs at the moment. Which Derby will turn up? Hopefully the one which got beat at Rotherham. Recent history Bolton haven't got a good good record against Derby. Since beating Derby 2-0 at the Reebok in 2012 it's been 5 wins for Derby and 4 draws. Team news. Sammy Ameobi and Andy Taylor still injured and Marc Wilson suspended for this one game. New signing Lloyd Dier isn't up to speed yet. One change likely with Wheater back for Wilson. Likely team Alnwick, Olkowski, Wheater, Hobbs, Grounds. Wilson, Lowe, Ozhumer. Noone, Magennis, Buckley.

Best performance of the season, maybe it’s time for a settled side and see how it goes.

Bad news
I'm installed behind the monitors and ready for tomorrow night against Stoke.
I expected to hear news of a full inquest of the happenings while I was away as to how and we beat Derby at home and what's with the lack of gossip of outstanding accounts and investors everything appears to be the exact opposite from when my feet left the ground
There's no way I'm going to spend every match above forty thousand feet so no doubt normal service returns tomorrow just to put me back in my place I've already picked up Prof P talking of a little tinker with a few tweaks here and there and what's with the lack of beds in the sick bay

Wonder if parky will tinker on Tuesday. Got the team bang on for me but he seems to want to freshen the side up when playing sat/Tues/sat.

Benny, when does he not tinker especially when we have played a few days earlier. He just can't resist it. Mind you if we had a few more younger players, he may not feel the need.
Pasty, you know it's you who feeds us with a little comment here and there. It's all your fault for having such a high powered position. Still, think of all the air miles you collect.

Nice of Ken to remind us he's still skint in all things BWFC and those unpaid bills have started to pile up again.

Late 8pm away one tonight and the lovely M6 for those lucky people in the UK going to the match.
Many may not bother tonight as money is required for Saturday they have been told by Ken not to watch the live game on telly this Saturday instead they must attend the ground and spend lots of money rather than spending less on ale watching it in a pub or at home.

Dier still not up to speed. By the time he's fit enough to enter the arena, Ameobi should be up and running if still not fit enough to play.
I've sent PP a note with the new style Zimmer. It has little skies attached to the four supports so he will have to water the pitch well so they can skim over the surface at speed.
Looking forward to the Stoke game tonight, hopefully, we can get a result.

Confusing a squad by Prof P - Tell them to stick to the plan.
"We have a plan" shouted the players as they looked bemused at each other after hearing such a statement.
The search is on for the joker in sick bay who was heard in the distance shouting "what's the plan if the plan doesn't work"
