We seem to have developed a striker problem
where we now have 3 strikers all vying for one spot.
all with good ability / potential
there will be calls to bung one of them out wide
I thought prior to going up top Roberts needed much more time to adapt, because quite frankly he was annoynmous out wide, turns out he just needed to be the lone front man to thrive. With games he will get better and better, now im worried he wont get enough game time!
Roofe - has to go up top
Bamford, is he now 3rd choice when he comes back?
striker issue

So scoring 3 and holding the ball up beautifully, isn’t enough

Roofe should be eased back in. See what he's like after international break.

Agree, I see Roberts being first choice until MB decides Roofe is 110% fit.. so he'll need a few sub appearances... I guess if Roberts is still scoring goals.. Roofe will have to sit on the bench and wait for his chance.

i dont think roberts will be dropped for roofe
just dont think MB is like that

Bielsa left Berardi at CB despite having Janssen fit.
He will leave him in on merit and Roofe/Bamford will get planty of chances and game time, but Roberts will start even when Roofe is fit and rightly so.

I don't see what more Roberts could've done....the games at Wednesday and Hull the way he held the ball up and played people in were superb.
He should start against Brentford and bring Roofe off the bench if needed

Thought that's what being a professional footballer was all about - when the opportunity comes along grab it with both hands and give the manager a real problem - Roberts has done exactly that - can't ask for more than that from the lad.

Don't think roofe should lose his place through injury but would ease him back in when fully fit.
What a fantastic problem to have.

Roberts hasn't done enough to keep Roofe out, and we won't play 2 up top so Roberts will have to make the most of Saturday. Imagine us when Bamford and Brown are on the fringes come January/February

id argue he doesnt deserve to lose his place
would like to see how many chances he gets with pablo on the pitch

Every chance we won;t see Bamford again this season. Apart from the knee ligament damage keeping him out until at least New Year, he will have to catch back up on fitness and he's not the sleakest machine out there - that extra training will kill him!
And Roberts has probably proven himself to take the number two striker slot.
He has a mountain to climb to get back in the reckoning
