Gascoigne - He deserves his place

gazza is the most high profile signing i think, but would he make rangers top 5 players since the 90's?

What were the circumstances of gazza's departure from rangers.

Did they get rid as he had a rotten season where they won nothing.?

Did he take the first chance he had to get out of there even if it was to Middlesbrough?

How did such a great player end up bring moved on after only 3 years...That happens in Scotland now but not so much then.

i feel for gazza, i know he was done stupid things but plenty have in drink.

the problem with inducting him into the hall of fame is that you don't know that he won't do something really stupid in future as well.

i also think that while he was an amazing player, he was never his best in scotland.

I'd agree with that.

I'm not comfortable with the statements regarding the withdrawal of his nomination for health reasons etc. but the faux outrage from some who lap up him being out his nut on stage shouting F the pope and the IR @ is just embarrassing.

The whole thing has been handled shoddily.

Personally I think it’s just yet another indicator of how much Rangers are hated in Scotland.

he's a liability, thats why he isn't getting in.

also, wasn't exactly a legend up here, i can think of other rangers players who done during their time at your schitey club.

In all fairness Rangers should be hammered for this.

What a stupid scenario, invite someone then uninvite them..wtf has changed between his invitation and subsequent withdrawal..nada I'd guess except that a couple of Rangers haters thought they would make a fuss..only in Scotland
