Mourinho's return to Stamford Bridge

I will never understand the hatred and bitterness the Chelsea fans on this site have towards Mourinho. I understand that not everyone views him the same way I do, but you cannot deny he's done more for our club than any other manager in our history and I just don't get how he isn't viewed as a hero by the Chelsea fans. For me, Mourinho is the greatest hero in the history of Chelsea football club. He's our Sir Alex Ferguson. He's our Goku. He's our ultimate hero. He's the one who built the first successful Chelsea team in 2004-05 and when that team started to decline and began sliding down the table many years later, Mourinho returned to Chelsea and built the second successful Chelsea team. When Chelsea needed Mourinho at that time, he came back and like a superhero he saved Chelsea. For me, I don't think Chelsea can ever thank Mourinho enough for what he did for us. Without Mourinho, what would Chelsea be? Would they have ever won the Premier League? Would they have ever won the Champions League? Would they be a mid table team? Mourinho is the one who made Chelsea into the big club they are today. Without Mourinho, this current European Superpower version of Chelsea wouldn't exist. And it all happened because on that day back in 2004 Mourinho had the courage to take a step down and take charge of that small club near Fulham and say "I'm gonna make you big". And wow, didn't he do that and more.

Just thinking about everything he did for us makes me miss him so much. I remember that indestructible Chelsea team from 04-06 destroying anything and everything in front of them to win back to back titles. At the time, I didn't think it was normal to win as many games as that team did, and I was right, but those were the first seasons I clearly remember and they really did spoil me even the next season after those two was incredible, there were some incredible victories that year. The highlight had to be Mourinho defeating Sir Alex Ferguson, supposedly the best manager ever, at the first FA Cup final at the New Wembley. People can say what they want, but Mourinho was the one who got the better of Sir Alex Ferguson in the three years they competed against each other in England. Mourinho is the only manager who ever did that as well, he was the only manager that proved himself superior to Sir Alex Ferguson. And then when Mourinho came back things were just as great. That first season after he returned was incredible with that amazing Champions League run, defeating and completely dominating the eventual champions home and away and finally, of course, defeating Liverpool at Anfield and stopping them from winning their first ever Premier League title. I still think to this day that Mourinho is the only manager who could have stopped Liverpool at that point. But even after that wonderful season, the next season was even better with Chelsea winning the league and setting a record for being the Premier League Champion on top of the league for the most days in a season. We were in total control that season because Mourinho had planned everything beforehand. He had prepared everything. In the previous season he had even said "Next year we'll win the league." This is the genius of Mourinho. He knows how to win and there's no one better at winning than him. He did something that no other manager has ever done before and that is plan a title winning season beforehand and execute it perfectly from day one. No other manager, and I mean no other manager, is skilled enough to pull that off. I'll never forget the Mourinho masterclass against Man Utd and Arsenal towards the end of that title winning season. I watched those games with my dad in the pub and we were both in awe of Mourinho's tactical dominance over the opposition managers. They just couldn't figure out a way to beat Mourinho. One thing as well, the football we played in the first half of that season is the best football I have seen any Premier League team ever play since Sir Alex Ferguson's PL CL double winning team in 2008. It was incredible football. I haven't seen a team play as good football since in the Premier League aside from Man City with Guardiola although I would still put that first half of 14/15 Chelsea marginally above Guardiola's City. Wow, thinking about these amazing memories makes me wish there was some way we could kick Sarri out and bring Mourinho back, but that just doesn't seem like it's ever going to happen

Anyway, I hope Mourinho is treated with the respect he deserves when he returns to Stamford Bridge this weekend and I hope the Chelsea fans sing Jose Mourinho's name. He deserves so much from the Chelsea fans, but the bare minimum is respect and I hope he gets it.
