i dont understand this defeatist attitude from utd fans. Im a Chelsea fan and believe me most of us are dreading this tie as much as you lot. i know we have had it best against you recently but there was a ime we couldnt buy a win against you, our record suggest we play better against you away than any other team and i never worry so much about utd away as i do at home. our games are either really dull tactical affairs or free scoring nailbiters. but other than a few run away victories by either nothing to suggest you lot should fear it so much.

I know what you mean, and if some of our better players turn up we absolutely can win. But Chelsea seem like a cohesive unit, with both established figures and newer faces in form, and the manager seems to have instilled his philosophy into them almost immediately. We’re a bit of a mess this season, frankly.

I always try to be objective when I predict United results, and if I were a neutral here I could only really call it one way.

Out of our last 15 meetings at OT we have only lost twice @ vavarising (U21731).

Its the Chelsea away games that some reason Chelsea know how to get a great result against us. I think Chelsea are due a thrashing by us one day and now you got no Courtois this could be our chance.

The 3 games at SB under Mourinho, our best performance was our 4-0 defeat. The 1-0 defeats were really poor by us even if it was going ok in one of them before going down to 10 and Rashford had that chance.

I remember the 1-1 draw when Lingard scored under LVG and how we didn't win that game was incredible lol. We actually conceded equaliser after messing up like a 4 vs 1 situation lol when 4 year olds would score 10 times out of 10 most likely but Depay who had done the same against Newcastle cost another 2 points.

We didn’t win because we stopped trying to attack after 60 minutes. Chelsea were camped on the edge of our box thereafter and an equaliser was inevitable. Funnily enough, it actually came from Memphis messing up one of the very few attacks we did have in that period.

lol you forgot the game then as Chelsea only pushed on in the last 15 minutes. I think they only had like 1 shot on goal for about 75 minutes.

We should have scored around 3 goals before we scored. Heck we had 10 corners in the 1st half at SB lol.

When you look at all 4 league games we played under LVG we should have beaten Chelsea in all of them but missed sitters and post and bars and Courtois saving near guaranteed goals cost us.
