Most clubs would sell out the allocation you were given, probably only 1,000 maximum. In fact not hard for any team in the Prem to sell out their allocation at every away game, as most are only allocated 3,000 tops. Even teams like Burnley sell out away.

Well Spurs didn't at Old Trafford two seasons in a row, only taking half their allocation.

I just assumed because he's always making a big deal out of such things.

He just likes to know that every seat in the house is taken. It's his thing.

Would love to go, but my winter sports trip is Sri Lanka for the cricket

I sent out a group email the other day looking for technical managers and one guy emailed back to say it was "£40k shy of current" just to let me know how pleased he was with himself.
