I think it's become pretty hard to make a horror film/series that isn't cheesy or predictable but they've managed it really well.

Episode 5 is the best of the series by the way. Shockingly brilliant.

Yeah episode 5 was a cracker. Didn’t see that coming at the end..

Yeah very good show. I was sceptical how they can make a 10 episode horror about a house but they have really nailed it. Watched the first 8 so far.

Really enjoyed this series. I could possibly quibble with how it ended but one of the best season's I've watched in a while.

It does end of being a decent drama rather than a horror in the end. Still a very good show.

Final episode was a let down for me. The penultimate one when the dad listens to his son moan about his theory on it being bolloxcks then puts him right in the car is a great bit of drama, that was almost as hair on neck raising as the proper scares. Very good series overall..

6.5/10 imo

Was going well up until the latter half of the series. Then fell into the same cheesy horror tropes and cliches as other movies/shows that run out of ideas.

Loud doesn't equal scary. Jump scares are cheap. A long winded crescendo is boring when it always seems to end in a scene cut.

Ending was bleh.
