No fire drill

On Saturday I don't think I have ever seen a ground so full in the 96th minute. Maybe we all knew a goal was coming!

Well done lads on avoiding the Spurd Fire Drill syndrome. It drains confidence from the team when fans leave

Who cares tbh? I certainly don’t. I think what people mean by fan base is global fans on twitter, around the world etc. For example I think Chelsea are the biggest team in Africa thanks to drogba and Essien and co.

It doesn’t matter regardless. I’m pretty sure both teams would sell out a 60,000 capacity stadium every home game anyway.

Oh dear and logic is still failing the poor spuddling. Have a good night, I would say it's fun but ultimately it's pointless as you fail to grasp even the basics. So here is where my participation ends - will leave Oscar and CFC to finish schooling you though I doubt they will do any better.

Good luck boys!

Exactly mate, supporters that go on about global fanbases, I doubt ever go to see their team play.

All those tourists had flown a long way to watch that game, they wanted their moneys worth. Why would they leave early?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What would Spurs know about a global fanbase?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Spurs have a bigger fanbase than Chelsea.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Can someone get this old dude back in his room - he is starting to embarrass you lot
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You can only judge on facts. Fact No One, over the entirity of football in England, Spurs sit 3rd in the all time averages for crowds in England, Chelsea sit way below Spurs. Fact No 2 Spurs averaged nearly 70,000 last season, Chelsea averaged barely 40,000. More supporters, bigger crowds, bigger fanbase. I don`t make up the facts, it is what it is.

You are embarrassing Chelsea, and all your good supporters like Brummie and Summer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We averaged our capacity fool. So no your imaginary stats about crowds in 2 different sized stadium is both idiotic and highly laughable.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not really, Chelsea have always had a bigger capacity stadium than Spurs for their whole history, apart from last season, yet Spurs have a bigger average crowd.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Again proving you know nothing about football.

Spurs’ capacity was bigger than Chelsea’s from 71-75 when we redeveloped the East Stand. And after the Safety of Sports Act in 77 until the 80s when Spurs held 48200 and Chelsea held 42-45k
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So four years and three years out of 120 years Spurs capacity was bigger. Nitpicking their pal. Spurs still average bigger crowds of both the clubs histories, so Chelsea must have had a lot of well below capacity crowds.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No, Sandy, your ground was bigger than ours every season from 1971 to 1990 bar 2 seasons.

From 64-71 our capacity was 60k, yours was 58k.

In the 90s yours was 35k, we went down to 23k, we didn’t overtake your capacity until 2001/2 season.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Bottom line is mate however you spin it, Spurs are averaging bigger crowds over both clubs histories. I don't make up the facts, it is what it is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So now you are backtracking on your statement that Chelsea have had a bigger capacity than Sours throughout history.

You don’t even know about your own club

In the EPL I very much doubt it - I am struggling to think of a fixture where we haven't been at 100%. So please show us some stats to back up your bull carp. Oh and to help you at regarding bigger fan base to hopefully make you understand the term "global appeal" here in Brazil in the last 12 years I:
A) have never seen a spuddlings top in the wild
B) have spoken with any Brazilian football fan who knew who Tottenham Hotspur were without prompting

So yeh I really don't think spuddlings have much of a fan base outside of London.......Grats on occasionally filling out Webley. Pretty certain in the last 15 years or so we have still managed to play there more times than you - and I'm confident in saying we always managed to sellout our allocation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

BrazilDo you mean you don't even go to Stamford Bridge.

Who cares about supporters in Brazil, I doubt they even know where the club is they say they support. I am sure their are plenty in the Amazon Jungle that support Workington Town.

Easy to sell out a capacity 40,000 stadium, same as Spurs used to sell out their 36,000 stadium.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You couldn’t sell out your 36k stadium for Europa and Carling games. Whereas we get 40k for Europa and a Carling games because we have a bigger hardcore fan base

We actually averaged 40k more than Spurs pre Roman when our stadium was upsized in 2001.

We averaged 39030 and 39770 before the mighty Roman arrived.

And we had full houses of 34k while the West Stand was finished 1997-2001.
