Abit of gallows humour from us Albion fans as well. Well those of us that were still there at FT. Think the Derby fans were a little taken aback.

In fairness a few sides have threatened to do that to us. Derby had the players to execute the gameplay to perfection and they exploited all of our problem areas. Defenders who are all cack on the ball, oceans of space we leave down the right, and the general lack of defensive protection we give the defence. Brunt and Field can’t play together. Far too similar. Missed Barry who could who can read danger and break up their swift counters.

I’m all for playing out from the back, but there is a time and place for it. Doing it regardless from the start, when the opposition have a specific gameplan for it is suicidal. Tbh I think BD and GJ especially I guess are making this a lot more complicated than it needs to be. Back to 4-2-3-1, everyone in the proper positions. Push the opposition back. Then you have the time and space to play out from the back as much as you like.
