He'll go down in history as one of England's most gifted midfielders ever. As a Spurs legend (first and foremost in football) but also the man i give a lot of credit to for the conception of today's Chelsea.
I hope his family aren't robbed of a father (don't know if he's re-married).
And another footballing great isn't robbed from us at such a young age.

I agree, though I Bieber Matthew Harding was responsible for getting him in the first place. This also brings home the tradgedy at Leicester last night.
I hear there was also a fan died during the game at Brighton yesterday so a sad day on many fronts.

Absolutely right Flash, legendary footballer for Spurs and England and also the catalyst for the revolution that happened at Chelsea. Also talks a great deal of sense as a pundit.
Lets all hope that he pulls through and makes a complete recovery.
