Getting in an early post as I am 2 hours ahead of UK in Glorious N Cyprus.
Watched live, patchy coverage on Arabzone and was delighted to see the Arabs pick up another 3 welcome points. Again, a very controlled and efficient performance, from a well organised outfit.
It was a tad scary to hear that Freddy was injured in the warm up, with Edge coming in at centre back, for his first start in a while. The big guy did ok though. A pleasing aspect, that displays strength in depth in the squad, which will be crucial over the rest of the season.
UTD were in total control during the first 45 mins. It did help scoring a fantastic early goal. Safranko is a hell of a player with a superb attitude. His work ethic is commendable. Aird again has the assist. He is also worth his weight in gold, and is becoming one of the reasons for the recent lift in success. For me, he was the MOTM.
Fivie is still not at his best, but is still a major force in the team. Fingers crossed he keeps fit as we need his skill and leadership qualities. King, Clark and Booth are all still, not quite at 100% fitness. This bodes well for the future, with the team picking up 10 points from 12 in the last 4 outings.
The only negative is that we need that second first half goal. It just gets a bit hairy, as despite the early domination, the opposing team will always have their moments. We need to secure the points early and move on.
All in all, a good period for the Terrors with all challengers, with exception of Ayr, dropping points. A huge look forward to next week. I have a feeling, that County may have it all their own way. Mon the ARABS

I don't really follow lower league football. Or top flight football. Or football.

Rather contrasting fortunes for the two new Dundee-based managers. United's Nielson has a record of 3 wins and a draw, with 7 goals scored and only 2 conceded.
Dundee's McIntyre has had less of an impact, with 4 straight defeats, 13 goals conceded and not a single goal scored.
Despite being early in the season, both clubs' next game could be season-defining. United could claw themselves to within 1 point of title-favourites Ross County, whilst Dundee face fellow relegation candidates St. Mirren. A loss would cut Dundee adrift at the bottom of the table, almost guaranteeing at least a relegation play-off despite there being two-thirds of the season to go.
