Paranoia.

Often, it is claimed that Arsenal fans are paranoid. We claim that nothing goes for us, and all that kinda thing. Now, I don't think that there's anything from the refs and the like - they can all make mistakes, but hopefully we'll get a bit of luck at some point in the season.

No, my issue is with the media. Even just from this season, which is still only young it is obvious.

For instance, Yakubu's goal yesterday, although very tight, was offside. Now, I'm not blaming the linesman, but the media just brushed over it. Yes, Arsenal were poor, but it was still offside. Arsene did not mention it, but had he, he would have been accused of being a whinger. "King" Kenny, on the other hand, has complained about not getting the rub of the green(despite their offside goal against us). but he's no whinger. He's just 'telling it like it is'

More examples, you ask. Well, De Gea was getting a lot of stick early in the season, for making simple mistakes. but the pundits were all saying that you can't make a judgement on a player this early. Give him time to settle.

Mertesacker has played 2 games in the premier league, and already he's useless. Why does he not get given his time to adjust too? Odd, no?

Another one, from yesterday's match, was pundits wondering how Cole got a yellow for fouling Hernandez in the pen area, but there was no penalty. It's not any different to Barton fouling Gervinho in the pen area, and getting a yellow. but it wasn't even mentioned...

So, yes, I've ranted here. but it does appear that the media have it in for Arsenal. What have we done on them? I don't know.
