I read a lot about the need for a new cf in January but personally someone to replace Willian at RW is far more important.
At the moment we have Hazard Pedro and Willian to cover the two most important attacking positions in the side, if any of the above three are injured for a period of time we're properly up sht creek.
The way we play, cutting inside looking for that extra pass rather than just putting the ball in the box, the two wide players in the front three are far more important than the cf. For this reason I would much rather we added some quality in this department.
Initially I hoped CHO could provide this but it is perhaps too early for him and Willian has been playing below expectations.
Adding quality here can also unlock the possibility of playing a rotating front 3 without a dedicated cf, similar to the way Mertens played for Napoli.

I'd look for a Willian/Pedro replacement in the summer.
Willian will be back on the bench now that Hazard and Pedro have returned from injury. He's a good squad player to have in our squad.
It's our strikers that have let us down this season.

Thanks Kante and I am saying this despite my desire to see Willian playing for at least three more seasons for Chelsea after the current season.Also,Sarri needs to ask Azpilicueta and Alonso to cross the ball in the box for Morata to atrack the crosses to score headed goals for Chelsea.He was brilliant with his head last season despite losing his form significantly next season.

I wouldn't say any position in January is a necessity to improve, but if the right players for good prices were available at CB, CM (Kante's position), or RW we can do business.
It would be worth slinging out a feeler for United's interest in swapping Martial for Willian plus a bit of cash. If he doesn't resign by January they'll be forced to think about it.
