Any ideas why my phone will connect to my TV with some videos but won't with others?
The annoying thing is this has only just started happening.
Was working fine a day or so ago. And the only suggestion Samsung We chat had was "comparability between my phone and the TV".
Fine but that doesn't explain why it still works with some videos and doesn't explain why it was previously working.
Any ideas at all?

My old S8 was very temperamental when it came to smart view.
The kids have Samsung tablets, and there is never any issue with those.
I think there are apps on play store that will pull up the slack for iffy smart view, but not sure why some videos will play, whilst others do not.

Could be a file format thing. Chromecast doesn't play AVI for example. You need to check which device is rendering your videos, your TV or your phone. Probably need to disable pass-through and let your phone render the video.

Aye I'm getting this now. Would easily be able to use smart view when watching pooorn but now it just fails to connect.

I have that too sometimes with connecting through Google Home but that always clears itself. No idea why it does that. I have learnt to live with it as it only happens very few times. If it happens with connecting to Chromecsast from a p0rnsite, could be a million things, but clearing browser cache and/or rebooting the Chromecast might solve it.

Almost had it working last night. Mirrored a classic Brittany Andrew clip to my Samsung TV, but right when i about to bust a nut the link broke. So annoying.
