According to a French outlet Chelsea face a 2 year (4 window)ban relating to underhand dealings involving Traore and 13 other similar offences
This is the culmination of a 3 year investigation.
One window relates to Traore and the other three windows to offences involving the 13 other alleged offences.
FIFA are investigating other Premier League clubs for similar breaches.
Traore had played for Chelsea at the age of 16 in an Under 18 match against Arsenal. The club also admitted they had paid his mother £155,000 in April 2011 to acquire a first-refusal option to sign him. And a further £13,000 was paid to the club AJE Bobo-Dioulasso, chaired by Traore's mother.
It was also claimed that the agreement was an option for four-and-a-half years when the limit for players under the age of 18 is three years.
Chelsea on Wednesday night said: 'The club has fully co-operated with FIFA and has provided comprehensive evidence demonstrating its compliance with FIFA regulations. We will not comment further.'
A FIFA spokesman added: 'Investigations were opened concerning Chelsea as well as other English clubs. No further information can be provided.'
No mention of who else in the PL is going to be sanctioned.

Funny how no German teams have been mentioned in these 'leaked files'.

It’s a FIFA investigation that has been ongoing for three years.

How much time do FIFA need to make the decision in this age of fast technology?

This is not a good piece of news for Chelsea and its fans nevertheless.

Not sure thats true... You have half the future England team dotted around Europe on loan... Get them back & play them... Might be a blessing in disguise !!!

This was my 1st thought.
Could be good news for CHO, Mount, Abraham, Ampadu, James, Sterling, Da Silva, Castillo, Tomori to name a few!

More likely that Chelsea would just go crazy in the market ahead of their ban.

Maybe, but you’ll probably get the next one right as is so often the case after Chelsea buy strikers that flop.

Yeah you have a few then get one right. It’s amazing how many strikers have flopped at Chelsea, though.
You’ll probably get away with this anyway. A transfer ban for Chelsea has been mooted for years but never happened.
