Mr. O'Neill, judging by you late game tantrum on the sidelines, you could use an anger management class.
Who/what do you blame for THIS defeat against a fairly average Austria team? Was it the officials fault?, did "we not take our chances?", did NI deserve to win but didn't?, was it dirty play by the opponents?, where the planets not correctly aligned?, was it playing football on Sundays in religiously fervent NI? etc., etc., etc.
Could be that you have taken this team as far as it can go. In the meantime, quit being a whiner and merely be gracious in defeat.
What is the ecuse this time Michael?

The golden generation we had has passed. Not having the likes McAuley, Evans, Davis , brunt at the peak of their careers will unfortunately see us slide back down the rankings. I fear it'll be another generation before we are back in a major tournament. Hard to blame ONeill. Hard to imagine a different manager will change it dramatically

Maybe the excuse is you're rubbish?

Strange Post.
Manfrom has summed it up perfectly and going the games I don’t hear a word of criticism for O’Neill from any Northern Ireland supporters who understand the difficult job he has with a very limited squad. We are clearly lacking a quality striker.
Thought we played ok during this competition and certainly did not deserve to lose all 4 games.
Will be judged on the Euros and until then has my full support

You are very sharp, my keyboard sometimes makes mistakes! However, instead of addressing the point of view in the comment you revert to your unprofessional name calling, how sad, how primitive!
It was nice to see the tax payer funded Windsor Park with a decent crowd for a change!

Earl, both you and Manfrom make valid observations.
I still would like to see O'Neill take a more controlled posture by stop trying to externalize blame for lack of results.
And his temper tantrum on the sideline after the winning goal was unfortunate, and takes away from him and the good work he has done. Best wishes to both of you!
