Villa v Blues is never for the faint hearted. The atmosphere is toxic, both teams will be desperate to get the bragging rights.
Villa look like they are really starting to hit the groove under Deano, while Blues have surprised everyone this year with how they have played and won matches.
Thoughts and predictions please.
I am going 2 v 1 Villa
Tough game but as long as we don’t get drawn into a scrappy affair, our greater quality should shine through.

I want to see a nice clean game with skills to the fore and sportsmanship all round.
Fat chance

I think we should win but these games are never easy and Blues have only lost three times all season so will probably be tight. I'm going 2-0 Villa like last season.
Personally, I think we need to win the next two, both at home, against competitive opponents but ones we really should be beating if we're to work our way up the table. December won't be easy with the games we have to play, but we've set a benchmark with that Derby performance and if we can play close to that level every game we should beat a lot of teams in this league.

Where are all the blues fans? Wouldn't be suffering a bad case of nerves would they?
We can usually rely on blueinbarca to pop up here

Actually I think it's anyone's game Garry Monk has never lost against villa but villa have won the last twelve derbies.
It's actually thirteen years since Blues won 2-0 under Stevey Bruce way back in 2005!
Both teams on equal points only separated by goal difference it's gonna be an absolute stonker at Vile Park!
So may the best team win and good l...
No screw that I hope we absolutely hammer your pub team and leave you all weeping into your Ginger, hipster beards in the Hole-t!

Great!!!!!!! Massive win.
Fair play to Blues, they played well. It was a great game all round.
But for us, after what we've been through, it shows we're back. A million miles away from the dire stuff under Bruce.

We have a fantastic manager who knows how to get the best out of our players. I questioned him leaving out Bolasie and Elmo today given how they played against Derby, but was proven wrong with the performances of Kodj and Hutton (what a goal).
Was frustrated with Chester today, gave the ball away too cheaply. I really rate him at this level, but he has to cut out the silly errors as it cost us the first today and could have cost us more goals.
Either way though, great win and hopefully we can follow it up with another win on Wednesday in a tough game against Forest.

Good win today, although I thought we were very poor first 30 mins.
All I can say is:-
‘How’s Hutton doing’

At least you lot getting thrashed by the Vile will shut that tw4t BlueinBarca up for a while.
Following the 4-2 drubbing, he’s gone to ground in his dark damp hovel and long may he stay there.
