After yet another international break(a quiet one this time with ken staying totally tight-lipped) which this time seems to have lasted forever a rebooted Bolton Wanderers return to championship action with a long haul trip to millwall, the first of 3 games against opposition Bolton should really be capable of getting results against. The stats say otherwise as 4 straight defeats with no Goals scored, 1 win in 13 and just 2 goals scored in 10 which has landed Bolton 2nd bottom. Forget all that though as parky has hit the reset button and stats like that are now totally irrelevant and parky believes the goals will come for Wanderers. This actually made Adrian Durham's heads gone feature on his talksport show yesterday, the 2 in 10 suggests otherwise. Millwall represent tough opposition. Promoted with Bolton, faired very well last season, play off candidates until a late fade, struggled so far this season but at home they have won the last 3 on the trot. Also have a couple of ex Wanderers in the squad. Ben Amos on loan who has effectively left Bolton as his contract is up at the end of the season cannot play against his parent club, jem karican has yet to make an appearance for millwall. A crumb, since losing 2-1 in 2012 which ended with Owen coyle getting sacked Bolton have had a good run with 2 wins and 2 draws at the new den. Team news. No suspensions or injuries so parky has a full squad to pick from apart from Stephen Ireland who is not up to speed. How many more not up to speed is unknown as parky is known to hide the truth. With a Sat/Tues/Sat schedule expect parky to be confused and yet more bingo selections as he attempts to rotate his squad. One clue, he has already said Bolton have to match millwall physically so using the same logic as at Rotherham where he thought the game would pass him by expect otzhumer to be dropped.

"We couldn't get hold of the ball and the quality of our play wasn't good. That could be sometimes due to fatigue"
I know what Prof P means about the fatigue I was all worn out by half time I shouldn't have slept so much during our two week rest.

FATIGUE!!!!! Am I missing something? I thought they had just had a few days off to recuperate. PP is an absolute idiot.
I can't wait to see what his excuses will be after Wednesday.

Am I right in thinking Brentford at Home 22nd Dec is the half way mark. Prof P and the boys are going to have to go some to be out of the bottom 3 for the New Year.
Anybody care to give a wins and goals scored prediction for the New Year we'll not do a points one as it's probably not worth bothering with.

Benny do keep up we did the Wednesday on Tuesday after the final whistle.
Have you had an optimistic implant a bit generous with all those goals and wins there for me or is that including a new manager bounce effect.

Look lively it's Wednesday tomorrow.
I fear an excuse coming what's the count on the sick lame and lazy and who has brought a note from their mum.

I can't be optimistic about anything connected with PP. I fear a loss tomorrow but hope for a win. However, if we do win it will only extend the tenure of PP as our manager. It's a hard one that.
