Let's get a grip....

Not been on here since Friday as I booked yesterday off in the hope I'd be dying from a celebratory hangover, how wrong was I?

Yes,Sunday was a shambles and after being 2-1 up at half time we really should have went on to win the match.

Lennon's substitues were baffling as was his team selection but the whipping boys Samaras and Loovens were not the worst players on the park and if Loovens header goes in at the start of the 2nd half it's a different game.

Last night I heard some of the phone in with a few Celtic fans saying Lennon must go now. What good will that do to anyone??

I honestly think that if celtic don't win the league this season then Lennon will walk of his own account and I believe he has already said this to the board.

Yes it was a bad result but FFS we are not even 10 games into the season yet. We need to rally round and get behind the team, starting on Wed night.
It's no use turning against the team, let's see where we are in January before we start calling for anyone's head.

Obviously, but with 3 seasons (going on 4) of under-achieving as a club.
.....

This season isn't over yet. Lets wait til the end of the season and if we don't win the league then yep, Lennon will step down.

Trust me I'm frustrated as the next person but as my dad reminded me on Sunday. He supported celtic through Rangers 9 in a row and we came back from that to have some great times under MON.

Just need to keep the faith, even if it is getting tiresome and if some people are fed up then they don't need to go to the games.

As soon as an Old Firm ticket costs £50 then thats my line and I won't be paying Rangers £50 to go to Ibrox.

Im sick of seeing all this guff about people who cant critisize Celtic and say "Faithful through and through". Im a die hard Celtic and Im always Faithful through and through to Celtic but it doesnt make any less of a fan for critisizing.

Lennon showed me he is tactically imcompotent yesterday. Im sorry but the honeymoon period is over for him.I love Lennon as he is Celtic to the core and back him for what hes went through just to mange our club but yesterday was woeful from Lennon.

His team slection? Im not going to go into one of these big rants about Samaras because Im sick of it, its Lennon who deserves slaughtered for playing him, its him that picks the team that he sees fit for us to win the match.

His tactics in the first half was long balls to Samaras and it wasnt working, the game just by passed Ki and Kayal who couldnt get control of the midfield and that allowed Rangers to. James Forrest scored 2 last and was man of the match and dropped, why? Thats twice Lennon has been beating Rangers at half time and we have came out in the 2nd half and completely capitulated, terrible tactics. To go in 2-1 at half time was flattering and we should of came out with a spring in our steps, what was his team talk? He really let us down yesterday, especially after Hoopers brilliant finish, should of got us lifted.

The obvious thing to do was get Samaras off and Ledley on, tighten up the midfield a bit as Rangers destroyed us in there. The 2nd half was an absolute disgrace, all the warning signs were there that Rangers were going to come back and Lennon did nothing to stop it. He said after the match our midfield didnt get going, yes Neil, its your job change that. Our defence is absolutely shocking and has been for years, we couldnt even defend simple long balls up the middle. Why do we continue to turn a blind eye to the centre half area and sign average players? with big Mjallby in the coaching staff and Lennon playing alongside him for years you would think they would have a big commanding and decent central defence.

Couldnt believe he kept Samras on for 80+ minutes and left Bangura, Stokes and Forrest absolutely no time to change anything, and Mulgrew? He deserves to be fined 2 weeks wages, wtf was he doing flying into needless tackles already on a yellow, its school boy stuff, cant believe how stupid he was, really ended our chances of salvaging something.

Im as devastated, angry and bitter as I have been for a long time loosing to them, we just bent over backwards yesterday and took it. Woeful, woeful stuff from Lennon. I know its early but to loose the first OF game like that be 4 points behind is disasterous.

I agree but my point was really towards the people who are saying Lennon must go now. It wouldn't do anyone any good if he left now and he must get til the end of the season.

I agree though that he must stop playing his favourites and stop tinkering with the team.
