You bet they are, they are clearly one of the top two or three clubs in the country, have been for some time, if the truth be told, even if the media will have you believe otherwise.
I have firmly believed they are serious title contenders since the beginning of the season, as you all know. With a third of the season now gone, Spurs sit just a few points of the top of the table, and just three points behind Liverpool, who are widely considered to be in a title race. Despite only playing in a temporary home ground, and having just about the worse injury list possible, they have come through the first three months with flying colours.
Seven wins from the last eight, that`s 21 points out of 24. Title winning form however you look at it. Just completely pumped Chelsea, despite Rose, Verts, Sanchez, Dembele, Winks, Trippier, Lamela, Wanyama, Moura, etc not starting, and some say our squad is weak. It is just about the strongest in the Prem. That many players missing, and still completely outplayed one of the top Prem teams.
Nearly half their away games already played, and still 14 games at Wembley or WHL to play, Spurs are in an extremely strong position. North London Derby coming up at the weekend, Spurs do not have a great record at the Emirates, but they so comprehensively outplayed Arsenal the last time the two teams met, that I am expecting the same again. After that game it is then reasonably plain sailing right up until end of February, when Spurs play Chelsea again at three point Bridge. Should be really stacking up the wins by then.
I have always been of the belief that the title decider will be the game at the Etihad on the 20 April, and I have seen absolutely nothing to make me change my mind.

you said Spurs were going to win EVERYTHING, the European Champs, the Prem, and the FA TinPot.
Now you've modified your tune to "Spurs are in the title race".
Much more realistic.
I agree, and so does Pochettino. Spurs have a chance at the title,..... although City are still obvious favorites.
Why?
Because some of the squad players have suddenly started to show talent, notably Sissoko and Foyth. That makes up for Levy buying nothing.

Should have been 4-0 had Kane not missed a golden boot-in from a Sissoko pass right onto his toe.

You also said in Auguest we didn't need to sign a single player. Before the Chelsea game you said "Aren't fans allowed to change their mind?" and that we could have done with a player or two due to our injury list!!!!

That's what gets me frustrated when I get into those discussions with Sandy. He will defend his point religiously against anything I've said which might prove him wrong... and then couple months down the line he changes his tune and says the same thing you've banged on about to him earlier.
