Oh dear! Oh dear! It seems that bunnyboilerman is so obsessed with Wolves that since I removed his comment from the preview thread (which I warned him that I would) he has now created an article on the boggies board dedicated purely to the mighty Wolves.
So far, only one of his 3 cronies have joined him, the tragically misinformed 'formally heisenberg' who, incorrectly states that Wolves spent £100m in the summer.
I have seen this £100m figure banded about before so I can only assume that it is as a result of reading The Sunday Sport, The Birmingham Post or some other such meaningless rag.
So, flattered as I am, I am not going to fall into the obvious trap of posting on bunnyyboiler's thread but I will put the definitive figures here just on the off chance that these numpties would like to state some facts for a change.
Diogo Jota [Atletico Madrid] £12.5m
Willy Boly [Porto] £10.0m,
Ruben Vinagre [Monaco] £450,000
Leo Bonatini [Al-Hilal] £3.5m
Rui Patricio [Sporting Lisbon] £15.9m (18m euros)
Joao Moutinho[Monaco] £5.0m,
Adama Traore [Middlesbrough] £18.0m,
Total spend = £65.4m + loan fees for 3 loan players
Sales
Barry Douglas £3.4m
Benik Afobe £12.15m
Prince Oniangué £1.5m
Ben Marshall £1.7m
Total income £18.7m + revenue from 13 loan deals
Wolves Net Spend = £46.7m
Biggest Spenders outside top 6 (gross):
Fulham £112.5m
West Ham £103.2m
Leicester £102.7m
Everton £81.5m
Wolves £65.4m

Can see why wolves are in relegation form at the moment then.

After spending £81m you're not exactly pulling up tree either are you? If we are so crap how come we are only 6 points behind you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You have a lucky start, but our class is showing now. Mind the gap.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's a long way to go yet my friend. Let's see where we are come May
----------------------------------------------------------------------
First season back in the Prem so I would expect the club to consolidate and wait a year or two before challenging for the title. Some clubs, like Everton, are content to simply make up the numbers. I would hope Fosun would have more ambition than that long-term.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wolves will struggle to finish top 10, they will never make Europe.
I don't watch the Championship, but I read about how you dominated the league, so when you played us, I was expecting hiding, we had a rotten pre-season and a lot of our new signings were out, so I was surprised just how crap you were. You had a man extra for more than half the game and yet you still couldn't beat us, in fact, you were lucky to get a point.
Wolves will be a West Ham, who's first priority will be remaining in the league.

Will still see Everton above Wolves, the gap just a little bigger than it is now.

Wolves are 11th, and the worst they can be after today's results is 12th, so not a bad position, especially having had some bad results, and that it is the first season back in the Premier League. Nothing wrong with the club having ambition, but the sensible ones amongst us don't expect it overnight. A few seasons of initial consolidation, with improvements along the way, should see better results and ultimate league positions.

It really doesn't work like that though.

Great result for Wolves again. Top 10 consolidated and a push for Europe next season, if Swansea can be classed as Europe.
