What are we thinking? Personally I can't wait to see how Gomes and Gueye do against the Liverpool central midfielders. Gueye has been a phenom so far this season and is way out on his own in tackles, blocks, interceptions you name it, nobody even comes close. Then Gomes, he has been nothing but class since he started and the two of them are a perfect combination.
Coleman v Robertson will be a key battles but the pace of the front three depending who starts could really be the game changer from previous games against Liverpool.
My starting 11 would be...
...............Pickford
Coleman Keane Mina Digne
..........Gomes Gueye
..................Sigi
Walcott Rich Lookman
Though Bernard for Walcott is also an option.
Derby tomorrow

That defeat is a harder pill to swallow than our previous 4-0/1 beatings.
What in the absolute fook was Pickford thinking of? He's prone to the odd brain fart but jesus, that...!?!
Apparently they have also scored more 90+min winners against us than any other side has vs another - just shows how our luck really differs

Definitely the most cohesive everton side we've played against in ages.
Walcott is still a bit of a donkey though.

Tbf we had the best chances although everton looked good, mane..salah..shaq and origi should all have scored before the late show.
Everton had the point blank header and that was about it.

Coulda, shoulda.
But we are heading in the right direction. Klopp didn’t go all guns blazing, setting up to nullify and go long when we pressed high.

Everton worth a draw. Gomez (both of them) were utter class. Gomez reminds me a lot of Bracewell - yes, he is that good. Plays with his head up, doesn't need to look at the ball and is always ready to receive the ball. Everton bossed the midfield, for sure. that said, I thought Liverpool had more chances in the game, and it would have been incredible if that game had ended 0-0. The first half alone should have been 3-3.
Great game. Everton comfortably top six, if not edging into the top four if they can keep Gomez and Guye fit. Shout out for Coleman too - seems to have lost no place after a year out. Class act.

Yeah, Everton one of the better teams we've played this season in the league.
