4 points clear....

of 3rd place.

Considering our injuries, it's better than expected

It's not really about the number of injuries, it's about the positions they've been in.

We had both strikers out at the same time, both keepers, 2 out of starting defence. That's the problem, not the quantity.

Apart from Phillips. Alioski and Klich struggling to think of many players who have not had an injury and a few long term Ones.Yes many clubs are in same situation but at least we have had the versatility to cope with it.

We had both keepers out for one game.

Honestly we’ve not that many injuries, missing maximum 3 first teamers at one time.

Like today, only ayling would start out of the injuries

Those games without Roofe and Hernandez though...if im right we dropped points there. Imo we should be 4 to 6 points better off.

Every Teams do have injuries, and sometimes to their better players

It’s not always about the first 11 though. A bench with Dallas, Berardi, Bamford and Brown as options would make me much happier. Plus an experienced keeper.

Injuries have had a bigger impact because the club didn’t opt to go with a larger squad.

Having a centre back injured when you only have 2, is obviously going to have a bigger effect.

Agree with LIW, every club has injuries in this league, the sheer volume of games always lends to this.

It's just sods law that we lose Cooper as Pontus returns - or was it good fortune? Depends on your view.

What I think is pretty obvious is that as a collective the team are doing marvellous and way in excess of where I thought we'd be right now. I really didn't expect to maintain our position, so fair play to all the guys who've come in and stepped up for the most part.
