Tired Spurs

They just would not be told.

You cannot play two draining matches in four days at Wembley and then expect to deliver away to anyone let alone a derby. No one has ever achieved that.
But no. Pundits and fans thought adrenalin would see Spurs produce another performance similar to the Chelsea game.
And apparently building a new stadium and not being able to reinforce the team in January is not going to be a problem either.
Trust me when Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea go shopping next month it will seem so unfair.

Once upon a time Arsenal were top of the PL in December/January and in the knockout stages of the CL. Sadly for us we were building a new stadium and we had to play the likes of Bendtner when Van Persie was dying of exhaustion.

Like Arsenal back then - Spurs are currently very easy on the eye but are dependent on a fit and fresh first eleven. Kane is creaking.

Tired Spurs.

We lost the match today. Yes the players are tired and that was predicted given the recent schedule.
But we still went 2-1 up and had a 2-2 draw until minute 77.
Why on earth didn't Poch try to lock the game down by bringing on his best defender?
And maybe Winks too?
Was he trying to win this game at that point?

I think the manager lost this game for team today.

Ledders
The restrictions on spending were from 2005 to 2014. We were selling anyone who was any good, how Wenger stayed top four year in and year our defied logic.

Don’t you think Spurs are tired?

Ted

You were tired from the off. You were being out run and bullied by Arsenal! Your two goals were mistakes - Keeper and the amateur Holding diving in. You had zero grip on the game at anytime.

Nothing Poch could have done.
Could have been 6-2 and Arsenal could have got three of your players sent off if we were being ruthless.

You weren’t building a stadium for 9 years though were you?

Spurs had the game by the scruff of the neck just after half-time, were 2-1 could have made it 3-1, and were in no danger. Just poor game management allowed Arsenal to win the game in the last 10 minutes.

Must say I agree with Sandy here.
Maybe Toby was tired but surely he could have played the last 15 mins?

There was no shutdown on.

The players were like zombies Kane, Vertonghen, Dier...legs had gone.

Definitely Toby should have come on at Half time for young Foyth. Not sure what Poch was thinking. He also never made a sub until the 81st minute, then he took off Spurs best player.
