Villa v Blues much bigger game, with a lot more hatred.

Mate of mine who is an Albion fan came to a Villa v Blues game and he said he couldn’t believe the toxic atmosphere and that was on a Sunday at midday.

However late 70s early 80s Villa v WBA was probably bigger in my opinion.

I think Blues v Villa was even bigger back then, when they were both in Div 1, and Albion were even less of a draw than they are now!

When you sack a manager who has got you in top 4 and almost guaranteed playoffs it makes you think there is more to it?

When you have a clown run on a pitch and hit a player from behind and then see a steward ejected for kneeing a player then you couldn't really make it up.

We are nowhere near perfect but compared to that I am proud to be a villa fan.
