The scousers haven't beaten us in their last 9 league attempts. That's how crap they are. Sadly they are due one this weekend and I expect them to win with relative ease. Sorry berties. You'll have to get your owner to put his hand in his pocket for you again in January.

Apparently all those set pieces warranted a DVD as well

I don`t think any team that is so expensively assembled should ever be considered team of the year. Team of the year should be teams from the lower leagues where the groundsman also has to fix the leaking roof at the stadium, and players have to clean their own boots.

No reason why that should be the case. Awards aren’t given out or judged on a pound-for-pound basis.
