Life would be so much easier if the manager came out at the beginning of these matches where there are exceptional circumstances and admitted the truth:

"Sorry everyone but this patched up defence will concede goals today. Furthermore our wing backs are both out and I do rely on them to stretch the play so we will not be scoring many either.

Of course we will go for it because we are Arsenal but that will just increase the odds of us losing. Add to that the fact the Alpine Klopp will have them pressing like wild animals and we have no chance.
