I see Alex Iwobi is back to usual headless chicken state. Knew it was too good to be true after a decent ish start under Emery.
The guy literally has one of the worst shooting techniques you will ever see. His end product is questionable for a wide forward and for all his dribbling skills hes too too damn thick.
When you have to drive forward with the ball he just slows down and allows the defense to close in on him and when he does go forward he loses the ball.
For all Mikhitarians fault least the guy has end product, be it shot or a good pass. He maybe weak on the ball in the PL but least he gets into scoring positions.

Remind me of one chance the team created after Iwobi's departure. The team loses after a long time and who gets the blame? Yeah the player who wasn't on the field when the last goal was scored. Ridiculous article. Daft even.

What did he create when he was on?. Ok, Played a simple pass down the line for Monreal who pulled back for Miki. Aubameyang set him up perfectly and he got under the shot and blazed it over. The guy has improved his effort but not his technique, we can do better. He’s a gd player but he’s not at the standard required to be at a top club imo.

If you're not so blinkered by your hatred for the lad, you'd notice he created a chance for Auba just before he was replaced. He missed a chance, yeah but that happens. Auba should have scored in the first 8 minutes of the match, he shot straight at the keeper. Laca couldn't sort his feet out at another time and a chance went begging.
It was an all round poor display but to single out Iwobi especially is ridiculous.

How have you taken that as hatred lol fgs. I said he was a gd player , he’s just not at the level to play for a top club. His stats in the final third are poor, redmond was far more a threat than Iwobi. Get out of his backside.

Your penultimate statement could be taken as hatred ffs. Cos it's so blatantly false. Asides from creating a chance just before he was substituted, please remind me of any other chance the team had in his absence from open play. I remember Lava's header from a corner kick ruled out for offside.
He's a good player for the squad, could be inconsistent. But enough to necessitate this article? Me thinks not.

So you agree he’s not gd enough for the first 11, I have no problems with him as a squad player. I don’t think he’s at a level to help take us to the next level as a regular week in week out. We can do better , this club deserves top notch players. Some have seemed to have been brainwashed into accepting second rate players , compared to the greats we had.

Yeah need an upgrade in his position. Far to often our counters break down when he gets involved in the final bit of play. He’s decent up to the point where he has to Make the final pass or shot. Often he’ll get us into a decent position but so often his final ball is really weak. He’s a bit Gervinho-esc. Got good skills, can beat a man, just can’t provide consistent end product. I hope he improves, id like him to become a good player for us. Haven’t seen much to suggest he’ll be much more than a decent squad player so far though. We’d be a much better team if we had a proper winger in his position

Regardless of unbeaten streaks, this is not a good team! Said it weeks ago and got blasted by some Gunner fans who don't want to accept the truth. Today's defeat was an accident waiting to happen and it finally did.
All the Arsenal scouts should hang their heads in shame. Putting eleven individuals with average to good skills on the pitch does not a good team make. The Gunners are unpredictable, and it is not certain which team will show up on any given game day!
The good news is that they probably will end up in fifth place because both Everton and Man. U. are inept. However, I wouldn't count Man. U. passing them up.
Once again it is "wait until next year!"

The previous Arsenal scouts i agree were completely dross. How they sanctioned the signings of players like Gervinho, Gabriel, Mustafi ect was mind blowing when at the same time they were looking at Van Dyke. Alderierald ect and thinking they werent good enough.
However our new top scout has made some cracking signing. Aubamayang, Torriera, Guendouzi, Mavarapanos and even Leno have all looked very good.

Not sure many Arsenal fans thought this team was good despite the unbeaten run. We’ve all been quite surprised how long it went on, think most were expecting this season to start much worse than we have, due to our poor squad. I think Emery has got a lot out of the team so far, I doubt many other managers would do much better without having to spend a lot more than we have.
We have to be patient and give him a few more windows to get his players in. The recent ones we have brought in have been upgrades on most of the signings before him, and have been in areas we needed to strengthen, DM and CB. So hopefully we’re moving in the right direction
Yesterday we played very poorly. But Southampton were much better than they’ve been all season, and baring probably the top 3, most teams would have found it difficult against them on the day. We needed to be at our best to beat them yesterday, and we weren’t. So I’m hoping it was a bit outlier that result, and we can quickly get back to winning. But undoubtedly this squad needs strengthening in January if we are to have hope of finishing 4th, something which most Arsenal fans would agree on.
