Great weeked of football, a swashbuckling 5-1 win with OGS and Mike Phelan back at United. The Leeds - Villa game was good too, and their 3-2 win at Villa Park reminded me of our FA Cup game there in 2002.
Excuse me for indulging in a bit of nostalgia but I love this game as it encapsulates everything that we are (or should be) about. Two-nil down then a goal from Ole and a brace from van Nistelrooy gave us the win. Schmeichel in goal for Villa and fans pouring onto the pitch at 2-2.
“Scholes with the cross-field ball, Beckham with the header and van Nistelrooy beats Staunton then beats Schmeichel!"
Amazing game, hopfully similar scences to come over the next few months

The goal machine that is RVN
He had an incredible goals to games ratio considering his few seasons with us.
Just loved the way he seemed like he was 'always available' to score.

Ruud's 1st was superbly taken, remember it like it was yesterday

One of my favourite United goals. Ruthless and poetic.

Leeds still exist as a football club?
Are we sure about this? I haven't heard anything about that sorry excuse for a club in years.

Don't go to any of your home games? You'd hear about us then.

Comic books are still more relevant than the club formerly known as Leeds United
