Lambourghini Gallardo.
They tend to look amazing, sound beautiful, go flying up the road leaving everyone open-mouthed and gawping.... and just as they hit their absolute top speed, they tend to catch fire and burn to a cinder by the side of the road while everyone watches and laughs.

A TVR.
Great car that was British owned, great to look at and mindblowing performance, but as soon as there is a twitch its off the road and going nowhere.
