It’s a penalty. Most refs don’t give them but it was a good spot.
-------
And you're spot on. Not all refs can spot the push in box just like last week when the same Arsenal player pushed a Burnely player in the box. He got away with it there. Oliver was very close to the incident and had a good view.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mate he barely pushed him. He went down quicker than Sterling.

We can all agree that we gifted Liverpool most of those goals. It wasn't the system where Liverpool cut us apart. All the goals came from individual errors that could have been avoided by basic defending!

Agree. Can only agree myself. That individual errors were the same under Wenger.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes but Wenger bought those players. Sanllehi and Mislintat only joined last Jan.

Don’t care if Emery has been here less than a year, an Arsenal team losing 5-1 is, and always will be unacceptable. These sorts of results were why we got rid of Wenger. Why are we the only top team that regularly loses games like this? Even with different personnel, as this has been happening for about 6 years now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Its always about the players. Wenger gets the bigger blame because he bought the players. He can't blame a director of football. Wenger spent £75m on Xhaka and Mustafi. just think about that for a second.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, those are two shocking purchases. Xhaka, I think could be useful as a squad player. Mustafi, however. I believe that Gazidis’ StatDNA is responsible for those acquisitions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The problem is that they are experienced starters and there is nothing Emery can do about it. He doesn't have players who can be starters ahead of them. Emery is slowly forcing Ozil out of the club. He can't also take on those two and still hope to keep the dressing room.

So with that pressure what can you do but to play them. Just like Lich who was a panic buy and a confusing purchase as I pointed out last summer. And our left back situation?

So with that in mind there is limited scope for Emery to avoid a 5-1 walloping. Those players are making individual mistakes.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure about that. Not even Fulham conceded 5 at Anfield, and we conceded the majority of those goals while we were being quite negative.

Mislintat and Sanllehi.

Lich was terrible and Torriera definitely had his worst game so far. The problem is however Wenger's big buys are still there. Mustafi, Kols and Xhaka are just terrible all the time. That puts immense pressure on the new signings who haven't even adjusted to the league. I think to an extent both Torreira and Guendouzi are suffering physically. This is the worst time of the year for tiredness if you are not used to it. There is no winter break!

Emery believes and counts on Xhaka. Like it or not, J99. He will be our captain next season.

Such delusion. Under Wenger, the manager would be getting the blame but now there's limited scope for Emery to avoid it? Leno, Sokratis and Lich were his signings and they all look terrible. Our defence is worse than under Wenger despite having Torreira in front of them who's better than what we've had.

Torreira got completely roasted today, he was bullied in midfield and was totally lost. Culpable for two goals.

Emery did nothing about it.

What delusion? Emery isn't getting the blame because he has been at Arsenal for all of 6 months. Wenger was at Arsenal for 20 years.

Don't you think its a bit hypocritical of you to never blame a man who was in charge since 1996 but want to be critical of a man who inherited his squad?

Sokratis, Guendouzi etc. have all been here for 6 months. What happened to the settling in period before moaning that we lost to a team that is probably going to win the league by smashing everyone!
