It’s ridiculous managerial decisions like that only made to try and prove a point instead of exercising pragmatism that makes players turn their backs on their national team.

He may have picked up a niggle in training. I think he scored a couple of WC goals for Australia so i'd be surprised if he isn't featuring through manager's choice.
