Who to buy in January...

If we are serious about contending for the title then we have to drop the players who are obviously not good enough. I never ever want to see Lovren in a Liverpool shirt again. He wasn't good enough for us even when we were in mid table mediocrity under Rodgers. So, with that in mind, who do we go out for in January. Is it me or does Conor Coady remind anyone of Jamie Carragher?

We need a good defender until our good ones are back from injury. There must be better out there than Lovren.

Any ideas?

Of course this is a sock account. Posts a ridiculous article in order to make Pool fans look stupid, and it worked straight away, with the first comment, a person clearly easily sucked in by it.

Or it is that person and that's how he got the first comment in. Definitely a sock account however.

I don't know what a sleeper sock account is, I just want to see Liverpool win the league, which is going to be ultimately harder to do with a player like Lovren at the heart of our defence. We have an opportunity to address that situation now and, if we don't do that in this transfer window, then you have to question the ambition of the owners. They've done well so far, I hope they see the job through to fruition.

Next time we play a big team the likes of Gomez and Matip will be back. Lovren is just a stop gap.

Lovren has to go!

I have some sympathy for Lovren. At times - not always, indeed far from it - he is in the 'tries hard, fails miserably' category.

My MOTM was Sane, he was the difference, although Trent, to his own credit, gave him a game.

The team gave the ball away, at times on a plate, too easily, too often.

We are Liverpool, ergo, we don't do "easy." Still on top though, 17 games to go.

Let's have it.
