Fabregas

Not saying we should have been in for him or anything of the sort but surely at 31 he’s better than a French team in the relegation zone.

You’d have thought there would be plenty of clubs in England and Spain who would still take him on.

Must be getting a nice pay packet.

Would be quite amusing if they went down.

Perhaps he wants to play for a club where he knows he's guaranteed to start, for the last few years of his career, in his home country, having spend years at two clubs where he was in and out of the team.

He could have stayed for ten to twelve more days before leaving Chelsea as we have a lot of injuries already.Perhaps, his departure means that we will sign someonw like Isco from Real Madrid in January Transfer window.

Well you have a track record of buying our used goods...

Never ever seen the fuss with Fabregas. Never rated him that highly. All the games he played against us I think he played well maybe once or twice. Very rarely dominated a big game. Glad we never got him personally

Very good signing for us at the tine because we needed a flat track bully, but for me always been quite a bit overrated, rarely made an impact in the big games for and against us, but was significant for both our recent titles under Jose and Conte.

Was a great player. Didn't see anything like his best in the last two seasons

Some fans seem to remember players at their best, and not update their recollection to what has happened recently?

Bye bye Fibregas

I don't think he's been overrated at all. He was real class for Arsenal for a number of years. He may not have done it in the "big" games often enough but I think that is true for Arsenal. The whole club has not done it when it mattered often for over a decade.

Isn't he in the top 2-3 PL assist all time stats? He may not be up to speed these days for a full 90 regularly, but he was a superb creative player for many years.

Yep. In his prime, which wasn't so short lived, he would pretty regularly turn in magnificent performances.

As a creator, you need the right kind of setup and right sort of players around you. He didn't always have that, but he certainly did for a good period at Arsenal, during which he was undoubtedly amongst Europe's best creative midfielders.

Fabregas was a sensational player. Personally, I'd still have him as a sub. When Pogba is so-so etc and surround him with battling CMs ( also like pogba is now)
