Not a negative article for a change
Forest game, fair enough different players was enjoyable to watch and I wanted to give my thoughts on some of the youth players as I personally can be really critical on some of them
I thought CHO and Ampadu looked good, CHO was good to watch and my god was it nice to see him full of confidence attacking the full backs and putting crosses in, great crosses in I might say! He just looked decent which was good to see.
Ampadu, I love his attitude, he wants to win every ball and loves putting in a tackle. Passing is good, decision making seems good and overall I'd love to see him stay and be slowly moved into our first team like CHO.
Fair enough it is only forest but when you see what they can do and especially CHO because willian has been dire this season then I think it would be good to see if he can do it at the top level.
Usual concern though for me is Loftus Cheek, now It looks like he went off injured but I don't rate him. I don't know what his best position is nor what he is particularly good at.. I just can't see him making it in this Chelsea team. I want to say mourinho or Conte tried him up front and I don't think he did much then either. For a big guy his control is average and also technically he's not even that good either as he constantly looks like he needs time to control the ball with a first touch. Sorry guys, I just don't think he's good enough for a top team

Anyone who wants Willian in the team before Pedro has lost all touch with reality. Pedro is the most direct player we have even Hazard slows a lot of our attacks down, Pedro is also more of a goal threat than Willian or CHO

I agree but Willian is decent on the left cutting in and Hudson-Odoi has to slot in too IMO.
Hudson-Odoi/Hazard/Pedro isn't a bad front 3 either I guess.
Hudson-Odoi has to start man, The kid really has the potential to be world class.. imagine he was breaking through at Monaco or Dortmund.. He'd be talked about as the best young talent in Europe.

Agree with your comments on CHO and Ampadu both need to be getting more 1st team action, especially CHO due to Willian being so poor and the lack of wingers we got in the squad.
With regards to RLC, he's been playing on the left or right of the forward line but feel he's much more suited to playing in the midfield 3 instead of Kovacic/Barkley. He's shown that he's got the ability to score goals and has got drive from that position.

They interviewed him on CTV and he said he sees his best position as a centre midfield player!

Wtf those are his best qualities. Great technically. What needs working on is his off the ball movement, which has improved this season.

I've seen him play so many times over the last few years and I still have a question mark over him. You're right, I've made my decision and unless all of a sudden he gets consistent in how he was playing a little while ago then ill still feel this way about him

I didn't really rate him until his Palace loan and form for England last season. Anytime he's played this season he's been impressive and got 6/7 goals in all comps too I'm sure. Not bad for mins or lack of.

RLC is most technical gifted Chelsea's academy graduate in recent time and gives his best when call upon. I don't see how the OP won't rate him, even the rigid Sarri has changed his opinion about him.
