You’d think Liverpool would take the FA Cup seriously
Their last 5 exits from the cup
18/19 - Wolves
17/18 - West Brom
16/17 - Wolves
15/16 - West Ham
14/15 - Aston Villa
Genuinely don’t know what their aversion to winning trophies is? We’ve sacked two managers even when winning trophies.
Liverpool fans, if you bottle the league this season I hope you don’t look back on tonight and wish you’d played more of your first team. Beggars can’t be choosers.

Only week we've had since the league cup where we could rest players. Salah and vvd have played every minute. We need those fit to have a chance. Imagine if vvd came off after 4 mjns today. I 100% stand by the selection today. The ones that were awful were first team players, Milner, keita, sturridge and Shaq until the last 20.

Apologies, Salah got rested for an hour in one game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
100% this. Aside from the defence due to injuries, that team was still capable of beating Wolves. They just didn't turn up.
Would have liked to try and win the trophy but i'm not as annoyed as I was last year.

just shows how 'deep' your squad is doesnt it, city have spent months without their best players, you rotate a few and play that garbage.
couple of injuries to key players away fromt he season being derailed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who, other than GB has said otherwise? We absolutely have to keep vvd, firmino and Salah fit to have a chance. If being out of the fa cup helps that, which is does, I'm on with that.

As long as you win the PL. otherwise it’s a lost opportunity

Liverpool fans have changed their tune. I thought the game was all about trophies? Now only the prem and champions league count?
Personally, I think Klopp did the right thing tonight, but you can't claim it's not a good opportunity of a trophy gone. Also really ups the pressure on their title bid, nothing to fall back on now if that goes south.

its amazing how 'deep' their squad 'was' earlier in the season now everything hinges on 3 players.
happy to be out of both domestic cups at first chance to save their players.
if Flopp makes it 4 seasons potless at pool, he'll have another unwanted record on his hand

Surprised it's dusty, you'd have thought all that wind would have blown it away.

Getting knocked out of the cup is a good thing for the dips, sadly.
