Its a shame we are out, even if it means we win the league. A cup final is for the fans, its a day out and a great experience, sometimes I think managers forget this.
However, what is clear is that klopp has decided we have not the squad for the cup, cl and league, so, hes decided to rest pretty much the whole group and keep players rested for the league. Its 1 game a week until Feb when the CL kicks in.
We have a run of fixtures that when we have a fit 15, 16 players we should win, time will tell but the upshot of the cup exit is that we SHOULD now have enough time to recover between matches, matip, gomez will be back soon too.
Its a gamble by klopp to sacrifice the cups, lets hope it pays off

If Klopp doesn't win nothing this season then he's failed.. I'm sorry but all these Scousers talking about progress I are deluded.. up until now the guy has literally been a serial loser.
Since he's came to Liverpool.. Chelsea and Utd have both changed managers twice in that period of Klopp "bedding in" Chelsea have 2 trophies.. Utd have 3. Arsenal have 1. City have 3. Spurs have 0 but that's spurs.

The defence thing is true though. The front 3 stuff is nonsense. I think the 1st half of the season got a lot of Liverpool fans excited and the younger ones were willing to bask in the sunlight as this is the first time they have really been considered a threat or a contender. Everything that happened last season was just a surprise.
The second half is the most difficult part because its more mental than physical and thats were characters like Virgil will help rather than spoofs like Henderson who is a renowned bottler.
Luck will play a huge part and for all the praise of Liverpool this season, they havent faced injuries to spine players and it would be interesting to see how they perform if that happens.
Still think they will win the title, just
I was looking at the Bayern team, that squad is still a very good squad. I think they could lose that tie
