Got to make some signings this window, in fact it’s pretty much essential we get in some fresh blood this window and help out Poch. We are doing incredibly well at the moment to still be in all 4 cup competitions and competing like we did tonight, despite us playing more games over the festive period than anyone.
That being said, we are starting to look a bit jaded and tired. The players were pretty much on their last legs against Chelsea and with news of Dembele departing, we honestly have to sign a few players this window no f** excuses. I just don’t want all this fantastic work we have been doing all season to come crashing down towards the end because we have over run our players to the ground.
Our squad is a lot better than what the media etc make out, but it’s in need of fresh blood and a few players are needed to freshen things up. A centre midfielder for me and I still believe a Striker of some sort is needed, just my opinion. Certainly a Dembele replacement is essential. Get this right Levy and back Pochettino as he’s doing a phenomenal job.

we messed up not loaning Kovacic or Gomes. I bet either player would happily have signed for Spurs if we were keen to get the deals done.

It would be lunacy if we’re offloading players and not replacing even half of what goes out, that’s why I think we will sign someone, levy’s not stupid surly he can see we need extra bodies for the final push.
Also with the injured players returning will make a big difference just hope we stay relatively injury free for the rest of the season.

Winks not playing forward passes is a bit of a myth tbh. See a stat where 27% of his passes are forward which stands up with the best of them that play that deep lying playmaker.
Although yesterday he was very safe but the movement a head of him was pretty awful. Eriksen and Dele were non existent.

Dembele is finished mate. You just cannot keep holding on to players that never play. Pointless.

I have seen him play this year and he’s looked excellent , I like winks but wouldn’t you want Dembele as cover ? £13m seems pointless amount of money , unless you’re going to get a replacement

Just posted on rumours of two targets, one of which would be a great replacement for Dembele. He is Frankie Kessie, currently on loan at AC Milan.
The other is Timo Werner of RB Leipzig, who is a striker but also comfortable playing just off a main striker.

Have to agree with Hengy re our movement yesterday.
All our players seemed scared to up the tempo and pass forward quickly. I think Gazzaniga must have had more touches than any other Spurs player🙄
Might be a bit of reaction to the number of games over Christmas, hopefully normal service will be resumed on Sunday. And United do not have any one as good as Hazard playing for them
