Barely get a mention anymore on this board because they don't really challenge us in the league standings. Small club now really but watching then get owned by Nasri was surreal.
Just how bad have they gotten in the last 6 weeks or so? Bizarrely, the decline seems to have followed them beating us in the league.
In previous years you saw them inconsistent but you always knew Wenger could pull out an occasional special performance. They used to bully teams WHU too. Flat track bullies. Ozil used to rip them to pieces. He'd go missing in next week's big game but these days they get dominated by West Ham too.
They look so midtable now. They've definitely regressed under Emery.

If you can't sign anybody due to wages, then how can you loan players? I assume you pay wages to players you loan?

You can get the parent club to subsidise some/most of the wages if needs be.
We've not actually signed anyone yet even on loan anyway, but I'm sure we'll cross that bridge when/if we come to it.

As terrible as we are, at least our golden generation were able to win things and never shied away from responsibility under pressure.
