I was told yesterday ( not verified so could be a Nev fact ) that the Club have taken out at least £100million in loans for the new Training facility and stadium expansion.
Staying in the Premier League is obviously even more critical than usual so I could see why the Club might persist with Puel, not going to create any fantasy Football but his style is doing just enough, that’s what’s needed now at least for the near future.
This raises the question about whether transfer funds are available and could we afford to tempt Rafa?
Anyone know any confirmed details about the Loan?
The £100 million conundrum

What was the clubs objectives for this season i think and i am guessing top ten position, rejuvenating the squad and getting rid of any surplus players.
I live near the new training ground and some works have started i doubt they would fund this using cash and not the same cash as for the playing squad.
No one wants to here this but given the termoil this season a bit of stability and time for Top to take stock of what he wants to do will mean Puel won't be fired imo.
Unless like the players someone better becomes available to be the forth manager in as many years.

No he hasn't. If he doesn't get the ball in the first place how can he pass it?

No, Foxy Boy is saying that he’s past it Cheesy. In that, he’s always 40 yards past the play as Mendy and Ndidi fumble around losing the ball on the edge of our box.

I've been advocating his move to us for some time...I'd have loved to have got him with Kante...
Can't thank you enough for him BTW

To answer the original question: it could simply be that a loan is needed because King Power funds are frozen whilst affairs are sorted. This could also explain why we can't pay Puel off (if even considered) and why we are not considering buying anyone in the window.

Yes it could be but you'd have thought decisions on loans etc would have been taken a while ago ?
