Change of System ?

Given the current ridiculous injury situation I think we need to change our system for the time being.

The strength of the team is currently the centre backs, with 3 fit quality players.

The lack of CM options means that there is no choice but to play a

Son going and Lucas and Kane being injured absolutely facks us so rose and aurier will need to play and be pivotal attacking players especially with Ariel threat of Llorente.

If Poch decides to play the same system and same way with current personnel then I think he will have gotten it all wrong.

id prefer a change in transfer policy but your point is a good one.... has to be a back 3 simply because trips is a defensive liability...and Davies offers nothing so Rose has to start....everything in front of that,.... just play whoever can move“

This. I don’t see how a change in system will do much when we could potentially be missing 2 of our biggest goal scoring threats for a month.

Dyo know what, I know this will not be popular but I think Hugo should be dropped. I still think he should have done better for the goal yesterday and argued with MK yesterday on the match thread. Watching Monday Night football and Carragher agrees. Not only should he save it how he was positioned, but his positioning was terrible when you see it back. I feel he makes too many mistakes and doesn't earn us many points. Time for Gazza to step in. I know that's harsh and he is our captain but he isn't the same keeper he once was.

hmmm.. would be a huge call tbh. I have been consistent in my view that he is an overrated keeper. he is good, sometimes very good, but no more than that.

I have full confidence in gazza, personally, but it would still be a big call to make.

Could’ve been worse as Newcastle lost their South Korea player 3 weeks ago

Took a big hit on his knee against Tranmere. I’m guessing it was when the gk took him out.
