Couldn’t believe what I was reading on Twitter/BBC last night about Chelsea fans wanting Sarri gone.
Firstly, last night was absolutely atrocious. An appalling display of lack of vision, ideas and commitment from pretty much front to back. You can’t absolve Sarri of blame for it: Hazard as a false 9 clearly doesn’t work and Jorginho has been very poor for a while now, yet Sarri perseveres with him regardless. Add to this that CHO clearly deserves more opportunities than he’s getting, regardless of trying to convince him of his long term future.
However, if you’re going to hire a manager based on a philosophy, which is what Sarri was hired for, you can’t give him less than 3 weeks in the summer to work with a squad full of players that are set up to play a completely different formation and style then expect him to revolutionise the team immediately.
Look at Klopp, look at Guardiola. Both took their first season to assess their squad and develop the style and they’re reaping the benefits now. Sarri is increasingly highly thought of by the coaching fraternity all over the world and there is a reason for that, his Napoli side were an absolute joy to watch. Listen to how Guardiola talks about Sarri and he knows what he’s talking about.
This wasn’t a ‘Mourinho’ style appointment - as in expect to win now. This has to be a longer term appointment where we allow Sarri to get his own players in and implement his own style. If not, there was no point hiring him in the first place and we will go all the way back to square 1, yet again but probably this time without Hazard.
Sarri Needs Time

Sarri getting critisism is completely justified.
Jorginho, I don't need to say anymore.
Kante out of position
Hazard out of position
Giroud on the bench
Persisting with Morata- however at least he's realised he's shlt aswel, it's just annoying it's taken him 5 months..
But Sarri needs to adapt, we won't beat spurs and that will put ALOT of pressure on him. Especially when he plays his Love child Jorginho AGAIN

yep
especially as they are now without Kane Son Alli
Sissoko...frankly losing is not an option Sarri can afford
Mickey mouse comp or not...it's about belief & turning up

Morata is not the problem and was never. Playing Alonso and Willian consistently when they have been usueless is the bigger problem.

rubbish...Morata is a huge problem

Morata isnt the main problem with this team though. Yes he wasn't good enough in his 18 months here hence his imminent departure but I reckon we would struggle with any striker in the world right now.

questionable....depends on the striker

Sorry NPE, pressed delete instead of reply.
I think poorly structured is a very fair point. I was listening to a podcast the other day where a journalist was saying that other clubs have said to him that they don’t know who to contact when dealing with is at the moment, since Emenalo left it’s unclear who is in charge of the football side of things.
It appears to be Maria Granovskaia but what football experience does she actually have. United get criticised for Woodward making football decisions with a business background but really the same could be same for us.

Exactly this. We HAVE to win and if we don't then I'm sorry but Sarri will lose my backing, nothing against him, but it'll mean to me that the players aren't with him anymore which is actually quite sad and confirms that we have some right ****** in that team.
And Morata is a problem, bizarre how you can't admit that, even if you just watch MOTD you'd realise he's been rubbish for months.. maybe even a year
