First season's stats for Sarri at Chelsea and Guardiola at Man City ...........
City = Played 23 - 46 Pts
Chelsea = Played 23 - 47 Pts
Don't remember anyone calling for Guardiola to be sacked
We are 4th in the PL - and still in 3 Cup Competitions ...........
Maybe it's time to stop moaning and give the Coach some time

And this in a tougher, more competitive season. Basically without a striker as well.

The reality is we'll always have fans who'll be unable to ride out the hard times and that's honestly not a criticism, we've been spoilt rotten the last 15 years with a revolving door policy regarding managers that's been highly successful - people can criticize it but it has delivered the gold. We'll have fans (even more in the future) who know nothing other than this being successful, they'll look at Sarri and simply see an older, balding, poorly presentable AVB. If we'd have hired Klopp or Pochettino within the last three years we've have had at least one spell where a general conscious would've been entertaining the thought that the club should sacking them, that's a fact.
Sarri has to be given time otherwise the entire reason for appointing him was pointless, if we wanted to judge a manager on instantaneous success Allegri was the guy we should've stopped at nothing to get - or better yet kept Conte and backed him with the cash-in money from selling Luiz, Willian & Hazard. If we sack Sarri at any point during this season (provided we don't drop out of the top 10) then I'll give up hope on us ever changing are managerial policy and we might as well hire Mourinho back.

Wasn't Pep known as Fraudiola after his first season?

Yes and the same exact complaints were thrown his way. Too stubborn, needs a plan B, that kind of football won’t work in the all mighty PL, etc. You’d think the stupid feckers in the media would’ve learned their lesson after what he did in the following season.

How are Sarri and Guardiola equivalent in any other way than having vaguely similar records in their first season?
I like Sarri, but he's just as likely to be AVB than to be Guardiola.

Arsenal is a rubbish team.Getting consistently beaten by them is not an achievement!

comment by Jose Mourinho, just the Portuguese Fat Sam, teaching 19th century football. Klopp is the better manager, and Eva Caniero was right. #Hazard knows. (U21750)

Hey pensioner...nice to see you about on here...
I have to admit I wasn't that aware of Sarri pre us signing him as I don't follow other European leagues, but given the start we had I was fairly impressed
Mind you I was also impressed with Morata...that didn't last.
Sarri does need time...but at Chelsea we know what a precious commodity it is and repeating the same errors in playing the same players in his Sarriball style may well be his undoing.
He could try some width with Emerson and CHO but he refuses...and we may lose both of these, so what are we to think
We must make CL next term...I don't care how he does it
